Writing opinion pieces with a reason (W.1.1)
What This Section Is About:
In this section, you will learn how to write an opinion piece by sharing what you think about something and giving a reason to support your opinion. An opinion is what you believe or feel about a topic, and a reason explains why you think that way.
Example:
Opinion: I think apples are the best fruit.
Reason: They are sweet, crunchy, and healthy!
Another example:
Opinion: My favorite pet is a dog.
Reason: Dogs are friendly and fun to play with.
