What is this section about?
In this section, you will learn to identify the key parts of a story:
• Characters – The people, animals, or creatures in the story.
• Setting – Where and when the story takes place.
• Main Events – The important things that happen in the story, in order.
Understanding these elements helps you become a better reader and storyteller.
Practice Activities
1. Video Activity
• Watch a short animated story or read-aloud video.
• After watching, answer these questions on paper:
o Who are the characters?
o Where does the story take place?
o What happens first, next, and last?
2. Worksheet/Graphic Organizer Activity
• Read a story from a printed worksheet.
