What It’s About:
Practicing three types of writing: telling stories, giving opinions, and explaining information.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Write a narrative with a beginning, middle, and end.

  2. Write an opinion with reasons.

  3. Write an informative paragraph with facts.

  4. Revise and edit writing for mistakes.

Examples:

  • Narrative: “I found a lost puppy in the park.”

  • Opinion: “Soccer is the best sport because it’s fun and active.”

  • Informative: “Bees collect pollen and make honey in hives.”

  • Revision: Fixing run-on sentences, adding missing capital letters.
