Key Rules & Examples:
1. Plural Nouns Ending in -s
Rule: Add an apostrophe (’) after the -s.

Example: The dogs’ bowls are full. (Many dogs own the bowls.)

Example: The teachers’ lounge is upstairs. (Many teachers share the lounge.)

2. Irregular Plural Nouns (Not Ending in -s)
Rule: Add ’s to make them possessive.

Example: The children’s toys are on the floor.

Example: The geese’s feathers are white.

3. Comparing Singular & Plural Possessives
Singular: The girl’s book (one girl owns the book).

Plural: The girls’ books (many girls own the books).
