Ordering numbers
About the Lesson
Ordering numbers helps students understand how numbers relate to each other on the number line. Students will learn to compare numbers using words like greater than, less than, and equal to, and arrange numbers from smallest to largest and largest to smallest.
This skill builds strong number sense, prepares students for addition and subtraction, and helps them recognize patterns in counting.
